The Rich Picture as a Systems Tool
Peter Checkland, one of our pre-eminent systems thinkers, has something he calls the Rich Picture, which is part of his Soft Systems Methodology (SSM).
A Rich Picture is to get a fuller view of a "problem situation," including what people are thinking and feeling, their particular perspectives on things beyond just the "hard facts."
