I'd like to welcome another big name to our little network. None other than Eamonn Guiney has joined us! If that name sounds familiar to you, it is because Eamonn is my co-author on the "Use Cases: Requirements in Context" book from 2000 (1E) and 2003 (2E).
I'm really happy to have Eamonn join us. He and I challenged each other to write a "decent use cases book" back in 1998 (I think) over lunch and somehow kept the effort going through thick and thin and produced a damn good book. I think the "thinnest" time was when we found out that Eamonn had to move to California. We managed the versioning process back-and-forth between California and Ohio until the manuscript was done. Luckily, Eamonn came back to Columbus a few times and we were able to have strategy sessions together.
I'm proud of that book and I know Eamonn is too. Since it is more of a long-term topic the book continues to sell pretty well (as opposed to a book on a more technical topic, say, JSP 2.0).
Anyway, Eamonn is here and Eamonn rocks! I look forward to your contributions, Ea.
P.S. Correct pronounciation of his name is eh' men guy' nee.
